A sword of injustice

Division

The fog bleeds

torrents of sacrificial smoke
not black, not white
but a crimson blood.

It saturates the symbolic scale
which is again unbalanced.
The sculptured goddess of justice
regains sight through a
racist blindfold, only to ignore
the pathway to death, becoming deaf

to cries from forgotten souls.

Though revenge is sweet
as bigotry believes
the taste of blood is bitter.

This mythical paragon of freedom
stands desensitized, without

reasonable doubt.

The torrential crimson smoke
now divided

into black, into white

by a sword of injustice

Thank you for reading.
